Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party...need I say more? This is an experience that I have always wanted to check off my bucket list, and I can officially say I finally have that check mark!

Being a West Coast girl, I don't make the trip to sunny Florida that often. Truthfully this was my first visit in 15 years!! Not for lack of trying, but life has a funny way of putting your plans on hold sometimes. I decided to go...solo at that. I left the family at home, boarded a plane, and packed as much as I physically could in a 4-day trip! 100% worth it!

You can enter the gates starting at 4 pm. After passing through security and scanning in, you get a wristband, and partygoers are led down a side path to a special entrance, where you are greeted by nutcrackers and receive a special ornament!

Now the party doesn't officially start until 7 pm, but getting in at 4 pm gives you 3 extra hours to play, giving you a total of 8 hours in Magic Kingdom for this separately ticketed event!

Partygoers were dressed in a variety of outfits ranging from fancy Christmas dresses to matching pajamas!

Virtual Queue for Tron opens at 6 pm, if you have never experienced this, especially after dark, I highly recommend setting a reminder and snagging your spot! You don't want to miss out on this one!

Once the party officially starts, there is so much to experience! Special character meet and greets, shows, projections, parades, snow on Main St, free cookie and cocoa stops, and so on. It truly is a magical time!

If you have been on the fence about attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I'm here to tell you..do it!! It is so worth it!!
